Advanced Education is bringing our Professional Development training to you. Class sizes are limited to twenty (20) participants. With 7 SMART Boards in the classroom, this course will offer a SMART Board ratio of 3:1.

Attendees must bring their own laptop and the workshop will alternate between instructional and hands-on. This unique feature lets every student experience the SMART Board first-hand, and to experiment with new techniques.

Please read this carefully: The SMART Intermediate Level Course is exclusively designed for teachers who have been using their SMART Board for about a year, or those who have attended a SMART Fundamentals course, and who want to learn more strategies for integrating the SMART Board into their classroom practices.

The SMART Intermediate Level Course focuses on: -  A review of the concepts and features from the SMART Fundamentals session - Using Object properties to differentiate - Strategies for using SMART link features in the classroom - Integrating and updating existing resources for use with the SMART board - Downloading and modifying existing SMART lessons - Strategies for using PDF, Word, Excel, and PPT with the SMART board - Strategies for sharing lessons and activities with students and parents - Adding interactivity to any lesson - Organizing resources for re-use with SMART Notebook software - Grouping pages by category

Cost: $245.00 + GST per person All major credit cards are accepted) Discounts for 5 or more attendees. Courses are limited to 20 people per session.

To help implement their knowledge, participants receive a notebook for personal notes from the workshop, a USB stick containing information and lesson plans that they produced during the course and the latest book, “SMART Board for Dummies”, a comprehensive set of notes designed to enhance users’ experiences with SMART Board interactive whiteboard. A certificate will be given after completion of the courses.
