Advanced Education is the leading provider of SMART Board professional development for K-12 teachers. Each year, our Education Consultants work with more than 5000 educators in Ontario.

Advanced Education is the number one SMART professional development provider for many reasons:

  1. We provide three levels of professional development to support teachers as they integrate 21st Century technology into their classrooms.
  2. All SMART sessions are led by experienced educators.
  3. Our education consultants are teachers with a thorough knowledge of curriculum, they are experienced in universal design for learning, differentiated instruction, assessment and evaluation.
  4. We understand the difference between professional development and training.
  5. SMART professional development sessions focus on using the features of the SMART Board as a teaching and learning tool.
  6. Our education consultants are SMART Certified Master Trainers.
  7. We are Certified Senteo trainers.

Teachers can sign up for a variety of PD session types.

  1. In-house, hands on, SMART sessions offer small class sizes with each person having full access to a SMART Board. You can choose a learning path, starting with a fundamental course and then progress through the Intermediate and Advanced level courses.
  2. On site sessions are delivered at the fundamental, Intermediate and Advanced levels. Each session is a combination of instruction followed by practice time where participants work with their own laptops to experiment with features while developing lessons for their grade level.
